I started my career as an entrepreneur and managed a retail mobile outlet of my own. My late elder brother encouraged me to assist him in his business to which I agreed and worked with him for a span of 5 years. After the unfortunate demise of my brother, I decided to choose a sustainable and rewarding career path for myself and joined EFU Life as a sales consultant in 2014. Since then, I have been qualifying for Falcon consecutively for 5 years and have been awarded the title of star performer. All of this would not have been possible without the blessings of God and the support I got from my seniors.

Introduction:

Like most of the Insurance Sales Consultants, I did not plan to join this Industry. My uncle was in the General Insurance line and he convinced me to join the industry, which I did 21 years ago. For the first 5 years, my practice was mainly General and Corporate Health Insurances. One of my clients wanted life insurance and wanted me to be the one helping him with that. Because of his insistence, I went through the training and agency process and started my Financial Consultancy Portfolio with EFU Life Assurance.

ME AND EFU LIFE:

I started my career with EFU Life in 2002. I did not actively, pursue Life Sales until 2004 when I qualified for Million Dollar Round Table (www.mdrt.org) for the first time and never looked back since then. I am a Life member (10 Consecutive years) and on the Honor Roll (15 Consecutive years) of MDRT. I would like to thank Husein Sachak for showing me what recognition feels like while seeing how lucrative this career can be. Rehan Anwer has continued with that and has been a great manager helping me become even more prosperous. EFU Life has made me a better sales person and definitely a more prosperous one. Today I manage a portfolio of over 400 Clients in Financial Consultancy.

MY HOBBIES

I enjoy socializing which is a great help in my line of work. Travelling is something that I love and EFU Life has given me opportunities to see the world. To name a few Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Kenya, Turkey, Russia, Australia, USA and Canada are places that I have travelled with EFU Life.

MY MOTIVATION:

My Parents, whose prayers have gotten me to where I am today and my Wife and Kids whose support has helped me give so much time to my work. Providing them with all the comforts of life has been my biggest motivator. I feel that every individual should be able to have a support structure in times of need and this is where my profession comes in play.

MY MESSAGE:

My Message would be not to come into our field by accident but by Choice. It is a fantastic thing that we do. We get to meet people from all walks of life and help them plan their future. This is not a job but a business. The more you put in the more reward you get. Two years of hard work gives you Twenty years of return in our line of work.

I had completed my graduation from Punjab University in 2000 and soon after, I started my career in banking sector. However, I was a bit concerned about my career growth and the earnings, hence I made a switch to the Life Insurance industry and joined EFU Life since on 08 March 2010.

EFU Life is the company which provides a bright and long term career growth. I learned so immediately upon joining. I am working now as Falcon member in EFU Life since the past two years. It is a special and recognized designation for those who want to conquer milestones.

I have also qualified for an International recognition i.e. “MDRT” for last three years with EFU Life.

Asalam o Aliekum,
I had graduated with my MBA in Marketing from Peshawar. Before Joining EFU Life Assurance Ltd. I had worked in several different financial organizations (Banking and Finance) at Peshawar.
In 2011, while giving a presentation to Mr. Atif Dildar Khan (currently serving as AGM North in another Life Insurance Company), I was able to impress him with my skills to an extent that he had offered me a position in his team. Till date, I regard him for introducing me to the life insurance sector, after which I followed his footsteps and in a very short span of time (less than 2 years) I was able to achieve Million Rupee Club membership (3 times in a row).
Then in 2014, I moved to Lahore and joined EFU LIFE ASSURANCE LTD. under the leadership of Mr. Tanveer Ahmed Khan (Zonal Manager) as a Sales Consultant. Since 2015, I had qualified for the position of Business Development Manager, consecutively attended 5 MDRTs and two Falcon Memberships.
During my five year association with EFU Life Assurance Ltd., I had learnt a lot from Mr. Mustafa Hussain Oownwala (our NSD), Mr. Muhammad Younis Butt (our ANSD), Mr. Tanveer Ahmed Khan (ZM) and Mr. Mahmood Ahmed (Sr. BM)

MY HOBBIES AND INTERESTS

Though I am rarely able to spare some time from my routine work, but whenever I do, I indulge in outdoor sport, explore new places, travel & shop. I love to devote my time for my future.

I started my professional Career as Sales consultant on 9th April 2001 under the leadership of Ex Branch Manager Mr. Suresh Kumar from Mirpurkhas city branch. I did my post graduation in (Economics).
In year 2003, I was promoted as Business Development Manager and since then, I have been qualifying for BDM’s target each year and now I am serving as “Chief Business Manager”

I had successfully qualified for “MDRT”10 times and also achieved the “Falcon Club” membership 05 times in my entire career.

Selling life insurance is different from selling an everyday product, since it is one of the high involvement products people buy and it is not tangible either. In addition to selling financial security, you are also selling trust, promises and commitments.

I had joined EFU Life Assurance as a Sales consultant in November 2016. I had been residing in South Africa since 1995 & had my own electronics business.

In October 2015, my childhood friend (Mr. Qamar Mehmood), who introduced me to the products & services of EFU Life and encouraged me to buy the education and marriage plan for my kids, which I gladly did. The following year, in 2016, he offered me to join EFU life as a sales consultant.

I found the scope of work to be quite attractive and initiated my work in November 2016. Since then I have successfully qualified for MDRT twice in the years 2017 & 2019.

I have attended MDRT experience in 2018 held in Bangkok and later in the annual sales MDRT meeting in LA (USA). I believe that this is a very lucrative and rich platform to work on and I am glad to have witnessed the perks and benefits this company offers.

My Name is Sham Kumar and I am a proud part of EFU Life. I had completed my graduation in 2003 and then started running my own medical store. Despite a stable occupation, I was not very pleased and satisfied and was motivated by my childhood friend Mr. Kantesh Kumar to join EFU Life. Initially, the distance to success seemed quite far but the supportive culture promoted within EFU Life helped me shorten the distance very soon. I consider myself lucky to have a supervisor like Mr. Jagdeesh Kumar who had managed my progress at every step.

In the first year of my joining I Achieved BDM and later EBDM and also attended the annual conference in Bangkok.

I am a very People’s person who is always on the quest to make new friends who share similar interests and hobbies.
